Introducing the Plural AI command
To reduce the learning curve and streamline debugging of Kubernetes clusters, we've added a new Plural ai command to our CLI.
At Plural, our mission is to make running complex workflows on top of Kubernetes as easy as possible for all organizations. Although Plural abstracts away much of the difficulty of deploying and managing applications across environments, it's crucial to have a deeper understanding of managing the underlying Kubernetes setup.
To reduce the learning curve and streamline debugging, we've added a new Plural ai command to our CLI.
Here's everything you need to know about our latest integration.
ChatGPT and Kubernetes
ChatGPT is a powerful language model that’s now widely adopted in various contexts. When incorporating plural ai into our CLI, we decided to utilize ChatGPT’s APIs for an efficient engineering solution.
By leveraging ChatGPT within our CLI, we’ve been able to provide an interactive way to simplify and expedite the troubleshooting process alongside your environment setup. Whether it's diagnosing configuration problems, identifying resource bottlenecks, or resolving deployment errors, you can now use our CLI to get insights and recommendations in real time. Let’s take a look at an example.
Using ChatGPT for Kubernetes questions
When managing our production installation, I want to list out all the pods I currently have running in a certain namespace, but can’t remember the exact command. I can ask for help generating the command. After starting my session with plural aiI can type my question at the prompt, which will prompt for a response:

The ChatGPT APIs will return more information about relevant commands:

From here, I can ask more specific or different questions to guide my investigation further:

We encourage you to download the latest version of the CLI and check it out!
In the future, we’ll be further incorporating the use of LLMs into our console to aid in making your Day two operations even easier, and to our upcoming Plural CD solution to help you deploy your own microservices. Stay tuned!
